Ivory and Cream Card........

Evening everyone! My second post in a day, but I really wanted to get this card done for a couple of challenges that I wanted to enter. I have to say that I'm starting to get hooked and they really focus the mind :-).

I was inspired to make this card from Julie's entry over on Midweek Magnolias by using just ivory and cream. I'm a big fan of white on white cards and really enjoyed making this.

As is my preference at the moment I coloured the image with distress inks and then highlighted with stickles glitter.

I embellished it with ribbon, lace (piece of recycled net curtain!), flowers and pearls. I also used La La Land Heart Banner, which I've seen on a few cards and just had to get. This is my first card using it.

The ingredients used for the card:

Go Kreate - XXL Square Frame - Frilly #9
Spellbinders - Timeless Rectangle
Die'sire Embossing Folder - Floral frenzy
Magnolia Tilda Stamp - Sleeping Baby Tilda
Magnolia Tilda Paper - Something Old
La La Land Die - Heart Banner
Flowers (WOC and The Ribbon Girl)
Lace(Net!) from my stash

Saturated Canary Nevaeh

Morning all!

Hope you are all well :-). I've been busy this week making a batch of cards for charity, which I've found really enjoyable, but I've also found the opportunity to make this card for the Saturated Canary Anything Goes Challenge.

Pink and Orange are a favourite colour combination of mine and I have used distress ink markers to colour her in. I really like Saturated Canary images especially the ones with the big frilly dresses!

I bought a similar dress to this yesterday, although it was navy - a thought for the next time I ink her up :-).

The ingredients for the card are:

Saturated Canary - Nevaeh Stamp
Distress Ink Markers
Spellbinders - Opulent Ovals and A2 Filgree Delight
Ribbon (Pink and Orange)
Flowers (WOC and The Ribbon Girl)
Gems
Paper - First Edition - Desert Blooms

Birthday Wishes......

Hi all, it's been a busy, but a fun filled few days for myself, as it was my daughter's 2nd birthday on Thursday. We celebrated with a little party on Thursday with the family and also a trip to Drayton Manor yesterday. Hopefully the fun will go on, as I'm off from work until Tuesday, and if I'm lucky enough I maybe able to sneak a bit of crafting in! Here's a card I made with "Birthday Wishes" on my mind...

I used a Magnolia Tilda image, although her name escapes me, and I coloured her in using distress inks

The paper was from Nitwit collections and I used green card to mat and layer. I added embellishments including flowers, paper doily, hat pins, butterflies (Spellbinders die), button and twine, metal corner, flower charm (I made myself using a flower bead and crystals), ribbon, Fanciful Flourish die and Cosmic Shimmer Pearls.
The sentiment was from Creative Expressions and I used a Magnolia Doohickey for the tag.

Challenges

The Ribbon Girl - April Card Challenge - just add flowers
Magnolia-licious Challenge - Buttons, Bows or Beads (I've added all three)

Thank you all for taking the time to stop by. Toodle pips!

Tilda With Love Potion

Morning all! Hope you are all well. Managed to grab some time before I start work to upload this card I made using the Magnolia Tilda With Love Potion stamp. I think this is such a lovely stamp and I especially like her shoes!

I coloured the image in using Distress Ink Markers/Inks and have to say that I'm really favouring them at the minute as a colouring medium. I find it easier to get a nice blend, as well as being able to add more shading.

The flowers are all from a goody bag that I won from The Ribbon Girl. Thank you again :-)

The ingredients I used for the card were:

Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles
Spellbinders A2 Floral Ribbon Threader
Flowers - The Ribbon Girl
Sentiment - Creative Expressions - Everyday Expressions
Paper - Nitwit Collections - Country Lady
Martha Stewart Punch for the edging
Leaf Punch
Ribbon - from Lidl (bargain!)
Pearls

Card made for my friend's birthday

Hi all, it's been a very long day for me at work today, so just trying to regroup before I go to bed. Just wanted to pop this card on that I made yesterday for my friend's birthday. It's very similar to a couple of other cards I have made recently and I just can't stop myself from using the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle die!

I think this die is amazing and I finished the card off with a Les Papillions Spellbinders butterfly die and added some pearls and a white ribbon.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Toodle pips!

A little bit of vintage Tilda.....

Hi all, I hope you are all enjoying the long bank holiday weekend and have indulged in plenty of Easter treats! I've enjoyed being off from work and having the time to sit down and do some crafting. Here is one of the cards I made.....
I have had this stamp for quite a while and have been dying to get in it inked up and coloured. I think my inspiration came from the Marianne Umbrella die that I bought at the NEC last weekend.
I coloured her in Sepia style with a mixture of Walnut Stain and Black Soot Distress inks using pens, pads and re-inkers. I added a little bit of Worn Lipstick to her cheeks.

I made the roses using a Tonic punch. I punched out five pieces then stuck them all together using wet glue and an embossing tool. I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink.

I absolutely love this Marianne umbrella. It was a bit fiddly to get out of the die, but partly my own fault, as i didn't use any wax paper.
The ingredients for the card were:
Magnolia Tilda stamp - Drip Drop Tilda
Walnut Stain/Black Soot distress inks
Spellbinders - Opulent Ovals
Marianne Creatables Umbrella - LR0263
Spellbinders - Parisian Accents (Corner)
Tonic punch
Cream Lace
Magnolia Tilda Paper - "Something Old, Something New" - Shoe Ornament
Cosmic Shimmer - Dark bronze - for the pearls

Challenges
I would like to enter this is the following challenge(s):

The Ribbon Girl - March Magnolia Only Challenge
Thank you all for taking the time to stop by. Enjoy the rest of the holiday!
