Sneaky Peek Time - Scruffy Little Cat

Hey everyone! 

Hope you've all been well! I'm really excited to be able to share with you a new range that Crafter's Companion are bringing to you next Friday 9 May at 12pm on Create and Craft as a Pick of the Week! The subject matter is Scruffy Little Cat and here's a card I made using the stamp called "Ashleigh".

I made a Criss Cross Card and coloured the image in with my Spectrum Noir Pens. These stamps are perfect for colouring as they have lots of scope to colour hair, skin and clothes. The range particularly appeals to me, as you can go glitter and sparkle crazy, which you can find plenty of here!

Sharon Cansfield the artist has said:

"Don’t be daunted- YOU can do this & you CAN create something unique. There are no rules, no right or wrong. Give yourself plenty of time as crafting is addictive & just have fun, and if in doubt ADD GLITTER!"

CC Monthly Download

Evening everyone! 

I've been busy today birthday and holiday shopping for my little princess who turns 3 on Friday! I don't know where the time has gone and thanks to her my love of crafting was re-ignited on my maternity leave! 

Anyway I just wanted to share a card I've made using Crafter's Companion free download for April 2014 called Floral Frenzy, which you can get here

I was inspired to make a Criss Cross Card from various videos I've been watching on You Tube this week. Disney Junior has taken over the television in our household and so I've resorted to watching lots of crafting demo's on the internet. Where's there's a cloud......lol! :-)

The papers and the embellishments are absolutely stunning in this download and I particularly like the bows and the bunting (not used in this card). Check it out!

I still have enough paper and embellishments to make more cards!

Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge - April 2014

Hi everyone!

It's been really nice and sunny here today and I just keep my fingers crossed that it's going to last!

On a crafting note I'm so excited to be able to share with you my first project I made as part of the Crafter's Companion Design Team!

The challenge theme for April 2014 is FLORAL and you can create a card or project with any sort of floral theme. How fab is that! 

Party Paws is a particular favourite of mine, as my daughter has a toy panda, which goes everywhere with her! For my first Challenge Team project I made an Easel Drawer Box Card, which would be perfect to pop a gift into. I've provided instructions on how to make the base in the tutorial section of my blog for anyone who wants to give it a whirl.

Sneaky Peek sshhhhh.......

Hey everyone! 

They say time flies when you're having fun and you know what I think that they may just be right!

As some of you may know I was recently selected to become a new member of Crafter's Companion Design Team and can tell you that they have a new 4 Day Deal starting on Create and Craft on Monday 31st March 2014 at 8 am with the fabulous Dawn Wheeler. The 4DD sees the return of that adorable little pup Barkley - I just can't resist him! He's soooo adorable! 

This new collection contains:

- A4 paper pad

- 6x6" paper pad

- A4 decoupage

- A4 toppers

- 6x6" acrylic stamp set

- Epoxy stickers

- 2 x 5x7" embossing folders

There are also three Hunkydory papercraft kits available.

Party Paws......

Morning everyone! 

The sun is shining and spring is in the air! I've had such an exciting week after finding out my good news on Monday! This is a card I made using a topper from the Party Paws CD by Crafter's Companion

The cute little pandas inspired me to do a black and white theme. I used Crafter's Companion Embossalicious 6 x 6 folder Floral Frenzy to create the background and then embellished with ribbon, lace and flowers. The lace I must add was from my local market bargain!

Just bursting with excitement...............

Evening everyone! 

I received the most exciting news yesterday to find out that I had been chosen as part of Crafter's Companion Design Team!!! Woop! Woop! Woop!

To say that I'm pleased would be an understatement! To say that I'm a like a fizzling, bubbling, bursting fountain of excitement would be more accurate :-). 

I'm really looking forward to working as part of the team and I feel so thrilled to have been chosen amongst a wonderful selection of fellow crafters! And to be working with such fantastic, quality products what more can a girl ask for? :-) 

Excited just a little!
