Teacher's Thank You Box Using Tattered Lace Dies

Hi all!

Hope you are all well! If not a little too cold! I'm sitting here in my Craft Room wrapped up in a woollen shawl with fluffy slippers on and I'm freezing! My husband thinks it's tropical, because we've had the heating on for one hour!

Anyway, I've not been here for a while, as I've had a most enjoyable holiday in Cornwall, a hen night, a wedding (not my own!), a trip to Blackpool and a change in crafty direction.

I wanted to share a box I made to put my daughter's nursery teacher's thank you present in, which I made using Tattered Lace Dies and my trusty old Crafter's Companion Box Board.

I was really pleased with how this turned out and the teacher was over the moon! I made a box using the Box Board and then cut a panel out of the centre. I then die cut from card about five of the Tattered Lace Cherished Hearts Corner and stuck them to the inside of  the lid.

And le voila! A fancy bow and a few flowers and the box was complete!

If you're interested in the gift I bought for the teacher then I had this made from a seller on Ebay. They had a similar item with a family tree theme, but I got the idea for the wording from browsing the internet. So putting the two together inspired this.....

That's my teacher's gifts sorted for the next 15 years lol! Big shout out for the Ebay seller who made it :-).

That's all from me for now! I have quite a few things I've been working on over the last few months that I want to share, so hopefully be back very soon!

Stay warm!

Toodle pips!
