Card made for my friend's birthday

Hi all, it's been a very long day for me at work today, so just trying to regroup before I go to bed. Just wanted to pop this card on that I made yesterday for my friend's birthday. It's very similar to a couple of other cards I have made recently and I just can't stop myself from using the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle die!

I think this die is amazing and I finished the card off with a Les Papillions Spellbinders butterfly die and added some pearls and a white ribbon.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Toodle pips!

A little bit of vintage Tilda.....

Hi all, I hope you are all enjoying the long bank holiday weekend and have indulged in plenty of Easter treats! I've enjoyed being off from work and having the time to sit down and do some crafting. Here is one of the cards I made.....
I have had this stamp for quite a while and have been dying to get in it inked up and coloured. I think my inspiration came from the Marianne Umbrella die that I bought at the NEC last weekend.
I coloured her in Sepia style with a mixture of Walnut Stain and Black Soot Distress inks using pens, pads and re-inkers. I added a little bit of Worn Lipstick to her cheeks.

I made the roses using a Tonic punch. I punched out five pieces then stuck them all together using wet glue and an embossing tool. I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink.

I absolutely love this Marianne umbrella. It was a bit fiddly to get out of the die, but partly my own fault, as i didn't use any wax paper.
The ingredients for the card were:
Magnolia Tilda stamp - Drip Drop Tilda
Walnut Stain/Black Soot distress inks
Spellbinders - Opulent Ovals
Marianne Creatables Umbrella - LR0263
Spellbinders - Parisian Accents (Corner)
Tonic punch
Cream Lace
Magnolia Tilda Paper - "Something Old, Something New" - Shoe Ornament
Cosmic Shimmer - Dark bronze - for the pearls

Card made with my NEC stash......

Evening all! Hope you are all well and keeping warm. I've had enough of the white stuff now and can't wait to see some sun! I had a fab time at the NEC yesterday and bought lots of new crafty goodies to add to my ever increasing stash. My obsession at the minute seems to be dies and I came back with one or two new ones. I couldn't wait to get them out and make a card today and here's the result.....

I really love white on white cards, so this is my inspired creation with a couple of my new dies. This was all made using a card blank and one piece of card.

Materials used:

Couture Creations - Tied Together embossing folder
Spellbinders - A2 Filigree Delight (new)
Memory Box - Meadow Bird (new)
Cheery Lyn - Mini Dimensional Butterflies w/ Angel Wings (new)
Garden Flowers embossing folder
White Pearls
White Ribbon
Leaf paper punch

Thank you all for taking the time to stop by.

My Daughter's 2nd Birthday Card

Morning everyone! And what a sunny morning it is. Hope it lasts! I made this card yesterday and although I didn't have any plans specifically in mind for the card, towards the end I thought it would be perfect for my daughter's forthcoming 2nd birthday.

The stamp is Magnolia Tilda with teddy bear and it was coloured in with copics and highlighted with stickles. My daughter loves her teddy bears, so this image really reminds me of her and of course she loves everything pink!

The ingredients used for the card were:
Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles (my favourite at the moment)
Magnolia Tilda With Teddy Bear stamp
Pink Ribbon
Pink Baker's Twine
Papers were free from a magazine
Pink Card
Flowers were from WOC
Pink Diamantes
Paper punch for the foliage

Challenges

The Ribbon Girl March Card Challenge - add ribbon or twine

As always thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Magnolia Tilda With Comfort Blanket

Morning all! Weather is still bitterly cold outside, but a good excuse to stay indoors and craft. I'm so looking forward to the Spring/Summer!

I finally got round to making a card with this Magnolia Tilda image that I coloured when I was on holiday last September (!). I tried to use Spring colours to cheer me up in the midst of this dreary winter weather.

The materials used were:
Magnolia Tilda Stamp With Comfort Blanket
Copic pens
Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles
Yellow Ribbon
Flowers/Butterfly Border from my stash
Metal Corner from Wild Orchid Crafts
Papers were from a magazine
Punch for the leaves
Stickles Glitter Glue

Thank you for looking.

Hi all, I definately needed to do some crafting tonight to lose myself for a little while and here is the result :-). I also needed to do something with my hands in order to keep them out of the chocolate tin!

This is a really quick card using Spellbinders Medallion Five, Garden Flowers Embossing Folder and some pink ribbon and diamantes! This pink is a particular favourite of mine. Anyway must get off now, as waaaayyyy past my bedtime!

A Butterfly Kind of Day....

Hi all. Today I appeared to be inspired by butterflies by creating the two cards pictured below. I had previously had trouble with these dies by removong the die cut, which was very fiddly, however, I recently purchased some very cheap baking paper and I have to say that it worked wonders. The die cuts just fell out of the die literally! Highly recommended for anyone having trouble with these oh so beautiful (but very fiddly) dies on the market.

The above card was created using the new Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles just being released and also Spellbinders Les Papillions. A couple of pearls were added and the sentiment was from a Creative Expressions "Thoughtful Sentiments".

Again for the card above I used the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle, but this time a Marianne Creatables Butterfly was added with a few pearls down the centre.
